Personal Resources

Home

At home I have access to a computer with all the adobe programs. This helps me practice and complete work at home.Which means I can finish work or a project at the time I want this increases my workflow.Being at home is also good because I can ask my parents and sister for advice on anything for my education.This is desirable for me.

Work

Work allows me to earn money while gaining life experiences that will be key to further my skills and get a better career later on in life.Further on in my life I would like to get a career earning enough money to live and have experiences that won't be available if I had a Job that pays less.This is a essential to live and a desirable resource to have experiences.

Transport

For transport I will use a car.For my early life I would use my mums car because I am insured on my parents car therefore it would be cheaper to drive there cars then buy a car myself.Another advantage of this is they have a electric and a hybrid car therefore I wouldn't need to pay for petrol and also has positives with the environment.This is desirable and definitely not a essential.

Access to Locations

Living in Cambridge gives me very good opportunities because there are many outside areas that I can film safety in and with easy access to a lot of public space with a nice background for filming or taking photos.This is a luxury resource.

College

In college i can use the college cameras and equipment to film and produce work whereas at home i dont have any good quality cameras although i do have all of the adobe software.This helps me get a lot of work finished on time with deadlines.There are also media teachers to give me feedback this helps improve my work.

Contacts

I don't have any contacts in the media industry.This is one of the main areas i want to improve.If i get a job in the media industry i think the list of contacts i will gain will be loads. in a very short amount of time.

Hire and loan

At the moment i can hire cameras and other high end equipment but when i leave college and want to further my skills wit the equipment i will have to buy it myself.This could be very expensive which will have to come into factor if i want to do it.This is not very essential for me

Courses

At the moment im doing the 180 credit media diploma this is a good start to the media industry.This helps me get practice with the equipment and gives me some good experiances for jobs in the media industry.

Bursaries and competitions 

If i wanted to could enter some local competitions.
